Services

Machine (Tools) Maintenance & Servicing

MachTools has a dedicated team of service professionals trained in mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance including proficiency in PLC and CNC application, primarily for Machine Tools.
We provide third party maintenance service support i.e. service support on machines supplied by other manufacturers at the site of end user.

Annual Maintenance Contracts

We undertake non-comprehensive annual maintenance contract for machine tools (GPM, SPM and CNC).

Consultation Services

We offer consultation services for:

  1. Equipment selection
  2. Project execution.

In past we have executed a project for establishing manufacturing facilities for German Joint Venture for Rubber Bonded Metal Parts (RBMP). It included all related activities from ground breaking to first trial batch production run.

Guidelines for Surface Treatment

1. Shot Blasting

To clean the surface (removal of scales, rust etc.), improve surface texture, remove flashes, burrs and similar requirement

  • Aluminium Extrusion for extrusion dies cleaning
  • Aluminium Extrusion for mechanical etching of profiles to prepare surface for coating (This saves 7% of the material by weight as compared to pickling process)
  • Automotive sector
  • Forgings
  • Foundry including aluminium castings, investing castings and others
  • General Engineering components
  • Hardware
  • Hollow Glass industry for mould cleaning
  • Moulded (thermos-plastics and like) for de-flashing
  • Plates, wires & rods
2. Shot Peening

To improve the surface fatigue of parts thus increasing their life

  • Automotive components, primarily transmission parts
  • Aviation & Ship Building
  • Energy Sector (example turbine blades)
  • Hardware
  • Medical implants
  • Moulds & Dies
3. Thermal Energy Method (TEM) Deburring

To remove the burrs generated during machining process, excellent for treatment of hard to reach area / hidden burrs.

  • Automotive
  • General engineering
  • Hardware
  • Hydraulic
4. Abrasive Flow Machine (AFM)

To improve surface finish; commonly finds application for parts with varying profiles / irregular shapes

  • Automotive
  • Aviation and space
  • Dies and moulds
  • Energy (Turbine, pump casing)
  • General Engineering
5. Metallographic Specimen Preparation Equipment

These equipments are necessary for material research and study to prepare specimen for under microscope examination. The users are

  • Automotive
  • Education Institutes (IIT, IISc, JNCASR, NIT and others)
  • General Engineering and Manufacturing industry
  • Research Institutes (CSIR, DRDO, ISRO and others)
